About Jeannie
elegant events with sophisticated style
Jeannie is a fourth generation Montanan from a well-known ranching family. Raised in Helena from a very early age, Jeannie is passionate about her beloved hometown and well connected in the community.
Jeannie’s mother Sarah, a former debutante from New York, was the epitome of class and grace and enjoyed playing the role of ultimate hostess. Jeannie followed in her footsteps and learned to love etiquette, organization, manners, and the art of Emily Post style entertaining from an early age; carrying those traits into her professional and adult life. She worked in travel coordinating, scheduling, and event planning for over nine years in Washington, DC counting The White House, multiple members of Congress, and The Prince of Wales Foundation among her bosses.
Back in Helena since 2015, Jeannie has enjoyed getting back to her local roots and serves on boards for the Helena Area Community Foundation, Carroll College Saints Athletic Association, Green Meadow Country Club and the St. Peter’s Health Foundation. Jeannie has found herself in a unique position to provide a voice and ideas for multiple generations of Helenans while also having the time to participate in and get to know the many community organizations, events and needs in Helena.
Putting her time and talents to work, Jeannie created Etchart Events to aid the community in what she knows and does best: pulling off beautiful, seamless events of all kinds and delivering sophisticated social details for all of life’s occasions. Whether a backyard barbecue or a black tie affair, Jeannie will handle all of the delicate details so you can sit back, relax, and actually ENJOY your event!
